View all open positionsMeet Željana from Novi Sad, Serbia, our head receptionist at Gava Waterman Milna Resort for the past year. She and her partner now live and work in Milna, though she also has a weekend home here and has been visiting Milna for years!
In her free time, Željana enjoys spending time on the beach with a good book. She loves Brač and uses weekends to explore every corner of the island, with a special fondness for Sutivan, Bol, and of course, Milna.
Meet Alex - our Head Chef from Cancún, Mexico. This is already his fourth season with us at Waterman Hotels & Resorts.
What he enjoys most about living and working in Milna is the peaceful setting, surrounded by forest and away from the bustle. He even lives at the hotel and says this lifestyle suits him perfectly.
Outside the kitchen, Alex is passionate about traveling, in just three years he has visited 15 countries! In Croatia, Dubrovnik, Zagreb and the Plitvice Lakes are among his favorites. He also loves discovering new cultures and meeting people from all over the world.
When it comes to cooking, his heart is with Mexican and Oriental cuisine. Besides food, music is another of his passions and he enjoys time with both his Croatian and Mexican friends here at the resort and in the town.
We’re happy to have Alex’s creativity and warm spirit as part of our team.
